She was born January 18, 1949 to the late Pascal Holman and Helen Stallsworth Holman Jarvis in Big Stone Gap, Virginia.

Janet was loved by so many, and lived to spoil her grandchildren. She retired from Herff Jones, where she was a stone setter. She enjoyed bowling, crocheting, and spending time with family. She loved to dance, and never missed an opportunity to do so. She had a laugh that was recognizable and contagious.

She is survived by daughter, Cindy Meador (Cheryl Norton) and son, Larry Olds Jr. (Terri Olds); husband Mark Hudson of 24 years; and grandchildren Ashley Hammer (Christopher), Joshua Meador (Michelle), Damien Hines and Destiny Hines, as well as her sister Pamela Hardwick (Dickie).

Preceding her in death are parents Pascal Holman and Helen Jarvis, and sisters Patricia LaTour and Ella Sue Lawson.

Showing is 5-7p.m. Friday, August 24, 2018 at Indiana Funeral Care, located at 2433 E Main St Greenwood, IN 46143, with service immediately following. She will be cremated shortly after.
